School Mission Statement
Dear Students and Parents,
Mabry Middle School has one singular focus, our mission, our goal: Maximize student academic achievement in a culture of caring. All of our resources, planning and preparation, instructional activities, homework, assessments, and curricular activities are designed to help us attain this goal. At Mabry we seek to provide our students with engaging and meaningful instructional activities that will maximize achievement and retention of the Georgia Performance Standards.
Parents and students are invited to be active in working to attain our school goal. Many of our students are bright and creative. For some, making "A's" is not their best academic performance. We want to encourage all of our students to focus more on competing with themselves, to do their very best work, to do better today than they did yesterday, to strive and attain by working hard.
I encourage our students to join with teachers and administrators to make our school mission a reality for yourself. And I invite our parents to support and encourage all of your child's efforts to reach beyond to see how far they can go. To do one's best while working hard to strive for a difficult and challenging goal not only builds character and solid work ethic, but, perhaps most importantly, builds self-esteem.
I am not asking everyone to make straight "A's;" I'm asking everyone to consistently do his or her best work. If I can assist you, please let me know.
