Mrs. Davis's class introduced heat transfer. For homework the students are to complete the worksheet on heat transfer.
Mr. Woolsey's class reviewed for a quiz and took the quiz. For homework students are to get information on one of the Earth's layers( crust, mantle, and core) and use the Bloom,s graphic organizer in writing down the information on the chosen layer.

Mrs. Davis's class reviewed and checked workbook pages 41-43 in class, reviewed more information about the Earth's layers, and took notes. For homework the students are to complete questions 20 and 21 in their workbooks.
Mr. Woolsey's class reviewed the three layers of the Earth. There is a quiz tomorrow over the laverys of the Earth.
6th Grade Open House tonight at 6:30.

In Mrs. Davis's class a movie was reviewed over the layers of the Earth, workbook pages were completed , and a worksheet was colored in representing each layer of the Earth. No Homework
In Mr. Woolsey's class graphing was reviewed, and oral reading from the Science book was conducted. No homework.

Mrs. Davis's class had silent reading, reviewed behavior "bills" and saw a movie on the Earth's layers.
Mr. Woolsey's class had silent reading, reviewed graphing lessons, and reviewed the handout over the Earth's layers.(pgs.41-43). The completion
of the handout is due on Thursday the 24th.

Mrs. Davis's class took a pre-test for Geology today in class. Students were given a choice to either complete the "Science Boy Project " or take a lab safety quiz. Depending on the student's choice,the project or the test, they are due tomorrow.
Mr. Woolsey's class took a pre-test over Geology in his class today. There is no homework for tonight.

In Mrs. Davis's class lab safety rules were reviewed. There is no homework today, but you should have your notebooks organized into their sections. Notebook sections are : Notes, homework,graded work and science fair.
In Mr. Woolsey's class the Earth 's layers were reviewed. Homework for tonight is to describe the relative thickness, temperature, and state(rigid or,liquid,) between the Earth's layers. Use the worksheets from today's Science class if needed. Also, please have your notebooks divided into sections. The sections are homework, activities, quizes, and test.

8/16/06 In Mrs. Davis class the classroom syllabus was handed out and reviewed. For homework get your syllabus signed by your parent.
