CHINA'S PEOPLE
Today we began our unit on China. The students are to read and take notes on the people of China pgs:525-528. EQ: What ways of life do the people of East Asia continue to share despite their political differences? define your key vocabulary and key people in the Vocabulary section of your notebook.

COBB STUDENTS VOTE
Here's a great opportunity for students to vote in the upcoming election. While we do not have time to review the candidates in depth,students are free to vote at the student computer station in the classroom during the hours of 8:30-4:30 Friday November3 and Monday, November 6.
Students will only be able to vote from a school computer. After they get to the Cobb Students Vote website, each student will need to select their grade level and school. After that, they just click on the candidates of their choice.
After the November 7 Election, we will be able to go back to the web site and check results by school. This is courtesy of Kennesaw State University.
