Rational numbers are any number that can be expressed as a fraction or a ratio. That is a big world of numbers!! Don't get caught in a 'Fraction Frenzy', put your brain to work and THINK math. Old skills and new skills will help you survive the 'frenzy'!
Skills you will need to beat the 'frenzy':
Use GCF to simplify (reduce to lowest term) fractions
Use LCM to compare fractions and write equivalent fractions
Changing fractions from improper to mixed numbers and mixed numbers to improper fractions
Adding and subtracting fractions with like/unlike denominators
Multiplying and dividing fractions with like/unlike denominators
Solving word problems involving fractions
