Complete worksheet 95/96, do division problems on graph paper or notebook paper turned sideways (lines vertical). You may complete word problems on the worksheet if you have room, SYW on each problem.
Ask your parents to sign last week's quizzes and corrections for lesson 45.
Quiz tomorrow on the Decimal Chart.

Pick ONLY 2 word problems from Lessons 44 or 45 that you missed. Re-work the 2 problems on the "Solving Word Problems" worksheet you received in class today. Write how you solved the problems in complete sentences. You are writing a paragraph that describes how you "think" when you are solving the problem.

Complete lesson 43, subtracting fractions with borrowing. Show your work on separate notebook or graph paper. Show EACH step.
There will be a daily quiz tomorrow from problems A-H on the homework lesson.
Follow these steps:
- Stack the problem - Whole numbers lined-up - Fractions lined-up
- Subtract fractions first - If the top fraction is too small - BORROW from the whole number
- Change mixed number to an improper fraction
- Slide the bottom fraction - over/under the improper fraction - Subtract the fractions
- Subtract the whole numbers
- Combine the whole number answer and the fraction answer
- Simplify the fraction if needed - Box or circle your answer

It is great to have everyone back after a "warm" Winter Break. Yesterday we got back into the swing of things with fractions and Alien Flags. Great fun!
