Steps:
Write the line segment measurements on the polygon
Find the Perimeter (P= Add up all the sides)
Cut the polygon into rectangles
Find the Area of each rectangle
Add the areas together to get the Total Area

Math homework 3/20/06

Some students struggled with the test today (which was delayed from Friday to give extra study time). Some students did not take advantage of the "help sheet" to use during the test and list formulas, examples, and pictures. All students could benefit from taking the test over. To take the test again tomorrow, they must correct all errors on their test and have their parents sign the packet containing the test, 2 study guides, formula worksheets and "help sheet".

Homework - Correct test problems, get parent signature on packet, and make a "help sheet" to use during the test.

You may fill in a "Help Sheet" to use during the test Monday. Use the Buzz Review sheet and write formulas, examples, pictures, key words, etc., to help you solve problems on the test Monday.

You will only be allowed to use the Buzz Review sheet with the star during your test Monday.
