For the next 10 days, students will be working on a project to make a bridge out of toothpicks. Students will be placed in groups of 5 people. Each person will choose a job to do for their construction company. The majority of the work will be completed in class. Once in a while, you may have to finish up whatever was not done in class.
HW:
During this project, I recommend that students spend time reviewing each chapter in the book in order to prepare for the final exam. The chapter summary and chapter tests are good resources, as well as the publisher's website (www.glencoe.com).
