Today we began working with equations having variables on both sides of the equation. This is a critical concept to understand since it is used frequently in Algebra I.
Skills:
-solve one and two step equations with integers.
-solve equations by using the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division properties of equality
-demonstrate the steps used to solve equations
-demonstrate how to check the solution
-solve equations using the distributive property
-solve equations with variables on both sides of the equation
HW:
ws 75 (1-6) & 76 (1-12) Show all steps and checking! (due Monday)
Ch 2 Notebook due Tuesday 9/27/05
Ch 2 Test on Wednesday 9/28/05
