GEO - Congruent Triangles 10/27/05

Today we took a quiz on lessons 3.1 to 3.5

Skills:
-understand the concept of congruent figures
-accurately identify the corresponding parts of figures
-apply theorems about the interior angles and exterior angles of triangles.
-apply the principle of CPCTC
-recognize some basic properties of circles
-identify included angles and included sides
-apply the SSS postulate
-apply the SAS postulate
-apply the ASA postulate
-identify medians of triangles
-identify altitudes of triangles
-understand why and when auxillary lines are used in some proofs
-write proofs involving steps beyond CPCTC
-use overlapping triangles in proofs

HW:

Remeber p. 144 and ws "What Type of Triangle" are due Friday.
