For the next 10 days, students will be working on a project to make a bridge out of toothpicks. Students will be placed in groups of 5 people. Each person will choose a job to do for their construction company. The majority of the work will be completed in class. Once in a while, you may have to finish up whatever was not done in class.
HW:
During this project, i recommend that students spend time reviewing each chapter in the book in order to prepare for the final exam. The chapter review is a good resource.

Beginning Wednesday, May 3rd, I will be out of the classroom for about a week and a half to recover from surgery. Mr. Jacobs has kindly agreed to be my substitute for all of the days I will be out. This will be greatly beneficial to my students since there will be consistency in the classroom. I have supplied Mr. Jacobs with the lesson plans for this time period. All students are expected to be on their best behavior and to help Mr. Jacobs by continuing to do their work as usual. Any misbehaviors will be severely dealt with. Thank you for your cooperation and help during this time.
