GEO Parallel Lines and Related Figures 11/29/06

Today we discussed the characteristics of the different quadrilaterals. This is a lot of information to remember. Students may want to make flash cards to study from.

Today we began Ch 4 which is a short chapter on proofs and lines. We discussed detour proofs, proofs with missing diagrams, and the formula used to find the midpoint of a line segment.

GEO Congruent Triangles 11/8/06

Today we took the Ch 3 Test.

BAG Rational Numbers 11/6/06

Today we discussed the properties of rational numbers, and worked equations with rational numbers. Ch 7 quizzes were returned. Students are encouraged to rework any problems they missed in order to learn from their mistakes before the test (Wednesday, Nov.15th). Remember, everything we learn/review this year will be on the CRCT in the Spring and 8th graders must pass this test in order to go on to high school next year!
