First week of School

Greetings to all. Here is what we've covered over the past week.

We have discussed routine information (agendas, schedules, class/school/Lab Safety rules, procedures and expectations.

Parents, please check your child's agenda daily for a few weeks.

Students should write classwork and homework for my class in the agenda.

This will let you know exactly what they are doing.
It is also a good idea to have them show you the finished product and where to file it in their science notebook.

Assignments given so far are:

(8/15)Discussed criteria for Science Guy/Gal project (students have a written copy in their binder)

(8/17)Discussed organization of data (tables, graphs)

Homework

(8/15) Get syllabus signed & lab safety rules sheets signed (due 8/16)

(8/15) Science Guy/Gal project. Due Thurs.(8/18)

(8/17)Review lab safety rules for quiz on 8/18.
