1. Orientation on How to Read the science text utilizing the Reader's Handbook (pp. 100-112). Discussed active reading skills w/ emphasis on this week's skill-Cause/Effect.
2. Use chapter 1 of your text to find one example for each of the (3) thought patterns of a science text (which were discussed in class). Reminder:they should be written on p. 9 of your Gen. Info. tab.
3. Record our class reading in your reading log.

Homework

Finish item 2 of class work if not done in class. Due tomorrow.
