Classwork (Thur. 9/22)

1. Discuss metric system and the history of standard systems of measurement. Take notes and complete reference table.
2. Complete How Do You Measure Up? lab sheet(flip-side of last night's HW) and front side(only) of Are You a Square? lab sheet. Follow all directions carefully. Use two different colors for your graph(one for height and one for arm span). Be sure to record all observations in metric units. Vary your units based on the object that you are measuring. Due tomorrow.

Homework

1. Finish lab measurements if you did not finish during class.
