Classwork (Thurs. 11/17)

1. Breakout Sessions (Water Usage)& whole class discussion.
2. Read pp. 376-377 in text and complete #'s 21-22 in WB for 11-2.
3. Read "Death of the Unsinkable Titanic" in the Disasters book. Complete questions in Sections C(Recognizing Supporting Details) & D(Main Idea),explain the author's purpose (Skill of the week) and provide evidence from the reading that supports your response.

Homework

1. Read Sec. 11-3 and complete WB. Due tomorrow.
2. If you did not complete 11-2 #21-22 in class, do so at home.
Note: We will have an open-notes quiz on Ch. 11 tomorrow.
