Classwork (Thurs. 3/23)

1. Review 3-1 WB (Classifying Rocks.
2. Begin illustrative concept map for Sec. 3-1. What comes to mind when you think of Rock Classification? Draw a big picture(on notebook paper)that represents what you visualize when asked that question. Use Sec. 3-1 to make a concept map on top of this picture that adequately presents the content covered in this lesson. This is classwork which is on-going until completed.
3. Begin Bugs-a-Copter Lab and observations.
4. Set-up science project log and record first entry.

Homework

1. Read Sec. 3-2 (Igneous Rocks) and complete WB.
