Classwork (Fri. 3/24)
1. Review 3-2 WB.
2. Bugs-a-Copter lab/observations (in log).
3. Copy SVW Group 3 into your log (directly beyond your Bugs-a-Copter lab observations).
4. From the rear of your "log", count back 30 pages. On the front of the 30th page, entitle it "Science Fair Project Guidelines". Record the guidelines (provided in class) here. Remember, you need to write on the front and back of each page of the log in black ink (only).

1. Complete the following exercise for SVW Group 3.
Part II
Use the list that you just created to identify steps a, c, and d-1 for our class project. You may use pp. 759-766 of online text and handouts in the general information tab of your binder for reference.
2. Reminder: We will incorporate our reward day into our class project on Monday. You may bring a clear drink (Sprite, Sierra Mist, Lemonade, etc.) to complement your popcorn treat. :)

Brief Overview of Class Project
AC Science students will utilize the (six-step) scientific method in order to produce a scientific research project.
Periods 3 & 5 will conduct an experiment that compares the efficiency of two different brands of microwave popping corn, Orville Redenbacher Movie Theatre Butter and Act II Movie Theatre Butter.
Periods 4 & 6 will conduct an experiment that compares the efficiency of two different brands of microwave popping corn, Pop Secret Movie Theatre Butter and Act II Movie Theatre Butter.
