Classwork
1. Finish two-column vocabulary definitions on Sec. 7-1/7-2. Submit.
2. View video - Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands: The People and take notes.

Homework
1. Classify your video notes into a minimum of four categories. Make sure that your new list is neat and contains complete thoughts for each fact. Some examples of categories include Food, Agriculture, Exports, etc. Be prepared for a class discusion. Due Mon.
2. Update your gradesheet. I-parent will not be available after midnight on Sun., so please check it that evening for latest updates.
3. Looking Ahead: We will have a test on Ch. 7 on Tue.

1. Review/collect HW.
2. Share Storm Safety brochures.
3. Discuss HW (Daily Weather Log) and elements of a weather map.
Reference: Sec. 17-4 (Prediciting Weather).

Homework
1. Take weather observations a minimum of two times daily over the weekend. You should take one observation tonight, two on Sat. and Sun. and one Mon. morning before you come to school. Complete your Daily Weather Log that I provided.
2. Begin listing the symbols you're going to use for your Weather Map on the back of the blank map that I've provided for you. We will do this assignment in class on Mon.
3. Looking Ahead: We will have a test on Ch. 17 on Wed.
