First, I would like to brag on my students and their creative abilities! When given the task of creating their own editorial cartoons, my students did an exceptional job! Many were humorous and others reflected more serios topics. All in all, they did an outstanding job! Secondly, we are beginning the writing process. Our writing rubric and prewriting steps will be reviewed first. Next, we will review the thesis statement and 9 cool ways to begin our introductory paragraphs. We will keep all our handouts in our writing folders and literally create our own writing manuals. Write on!!
