Complete DOL Take Home. Do not re-write the sentences for all the sentences. Use proofreading marks to indicate corrections. We will have a contest to see which class does the best.
Simple, compound, complex sentence quiz is Thursday. Review conjunction notes (copy I gave you) and WAG pages 426-429.
Mini-book project due Friday!

Write 9 sentences on the same topic skipping a line between each.
3 simple sentences--one with a compound subject, one with a compound predicate, and one with a compound subject and predicate.
Write 3 compound sentences--do not use the same coordinating conjunctions.
Write 3 complex sentences--do not use the same subordinating conjunction.
Your mini-book project is due Friday!!

Work on your mini-book project due 12/15.
Study for a test on "The Stone" p. 505 on Thursday. Make sure you are familiar with the vocabulary words that follow:
delved, gaped, plight, obliged, jubilation, rue, mired, and fallow. See margins and footnotes.
