READING LOG UPDATE ALL READING LOGS ARE DUE FRIDAY, APRIL 30!
Today in class we completed a preliminary count of pages and books read this year. Friday we will complete a final total. This total will be a language arts test grade for the final nine weeks. (Divide the number of books read by 25 for a percent score.) A total for each student will be submitted to our media specialist and later to the administration.
No books, articles, poetry, or short stories will be added in the total that are not written on students' logs kept this school year. Last summer's reading counts on the final total if it is documented. Unfortunately, any lost or misplaced reading logs do not count toward final grade.
If you did not have all your logs in class today, you will do your total for homework and submit it in class tomorrow.
Our final log check will be Wednesday, May 2. (Ten entries are required.)
Complete workbook pages 103 & 104, Lie vs. Lay. Omit Writing Application.

Please have your progress reports signed and returned by Wednesday, May 2.
Bring a calculator and any reading logs you may have at home. We will be tallying up the numbers to see how many books have been read so far this year.
Unfortunately, if any logs have been misplaced, pages read are not documented and cannot be accepted.
