8/30 Measuring mass, length, volume, and density

GPS:
S6CS1.4 Read and analog and digital meters on intruments used to make direct measurements of length, volume, weight, elapsed time, rates, and temperature, and choose appropriate units for reporting
various quantities.

Objective:
Measure mass with a balance and length with a metric ruler

Classwork:
Properties of Matter Video with worksheet as a guide.
Measure worksheet using the rulers with metric scale.
Teacher will have to go over the ruler pointing out the
basic principles of the ruler pointing out the mm and cm.
If time, finish the balance lab with the lab report.

Homework: Career Project due Thursday
