The 6th grade classes are finishing the cubistic painting and beginning mosaic masks.

Finding the Details

The 7th graders created a picture by finding a small section of another picture that would make an interesting design on it's own. The products are beautiful! All of the tea bowls survived the kiln!!!

The 6th graders are picking a color scheme to create a cubistic painting of the scientific symbols of the planets.

Color Wheel

The sixth graders reinvented the wheel by creating an overlapping bottle still life, following the color relationships on the color wheel.

Taj Mahal

The 7th graders were introduced to the history of the Taj Mahal and were asked to create thier own using overlapping geometric shapes and patterns.

Ugly Jugs

The 8th graders are using the coil method of clay building to create "Ugly Jugs". These jugs are a Folk Art form of pottery that can be seen in North Georgia.
