Students will work on clay Japanese Tea Bowls and begin a surrealistic room influenced by Dali's art work.

We will begin a series of art works fashioned after famous Georgia Folk Artists. This week we will study Howard Finster.

Students will make a picture by enlarging the details of an art work. We will discus how Georgia O'Keefe enlarged details of flowers to create her paintings.

Welcome back! I am looking forward to the beginning of a new year and a new quarter.
We will begin the new quarter with an introduction to the art room procedures and vocabulary.
Every student will make a portfolio for all their work which will go home with them at the end of the quarter.
