The following skills will be covered in Pre-algebra this year: problem solving; number sense and computation; algebra; geometry; and statistics and probability. These skills may be taken from the following chapters.

Chapter 3: Solving One-Step Equations and Inequalities
Chapter 4: Exploring Factors and Fractions
Chapter 5: Rationals: Patterns in Addition and Subtraction

Chapter 8: Functions and Graphing
Chapter 9: Ratio, Proportion, and Percent
Chapter 10: More Statistics and Probability

GENERAL INFORMATION
Homework is an opportunity for each student to practice the concept and to determine if they need extra practice or help before taking a test. Homework will be given on a daily basis. If ABSENT, access my BLOG through the Mabry website for the assignments missed. Students are to schedule make-up tests and quizzes with Ms. Hansard upon their return to school.
