We discovered that many left class yesterday w/ the impression they understand Tues.' notes; however, their struggles and low HW grades told us otherwise. We spent a great deal of time checking and discussing last night's HW.
Since a large amt. of time went to our HW discussion, we started, yet did not complete, today's Notes. Therefore...
PW: Tonight's planned assignment (p. 297) will NOT be due tomorrow. The children MUST practice problems from pgs. 227 and 228 tonight, now that we have made a 2nd day of going over the material! Do the odd #ed problems and then check their answers in the back of the book. Remember that "Perfect Practice makes Permanent."
