1.) Collected last night's PW. Quite a few, who were present yesterday, did not have their work; I'm concerned since they knew it was to be completed by today.
2.) After Reviewing, verbally, our Ch. 6 MAJOR TEST was taken. I'm hoping they followed instruction all week and studied, nightly, since I've stressed that DAILY PRACTICE is mandatory to make anything "stick."
NOTE: If absent today, remember that it is YOUR responsibility to come ready to take it the day you return. You, of course, must remind me!
PW: Review for tomorrow's Timed Mult. Test. Practice w/ family this evening during supper, trips to the ball park, etc....

>> PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE BLOG<<
1.) Checked and Collected pg. 311. Many decided that they were not happy w/ their score and chose to do it, again, tonight. They said they were willing to accept a late grade in order to improve the score they saw today.
NOTE: 1st pd. turned this assignment (pg. 311) yesterday after we checked it.
2.) Students had an opportunity to work on a 2-sided WSheet that reviews 2 sect. of our Ch. 6 material. This will be checked and collected tomorrow. Be sure to SHOW ALL WORK! USE your NOTES as your "Private Tutor" to assist you.
PW:
1.) COMPLETE both sides of the WSheet given to you in class!
2.) The Ch. 6 MAJOR TEST has been postponed one day. It will be THIS THURS., 3-16-06. PRACTICE odd #ed problems in each sect. covered. The answers to these are in the back of the text to assist you in grading your accuracy!
**As we discussed in class, do NOT look at this "postponement" as one more free day to refrain from studying. Look at it as a "blessing" you have been given to PRACTICE an additional day!!

1.) Collected Extra Credit projects. These were optional, but may not be turned in late, unless the child was absent from school today.
2.) Returned/Recollected Timed Mult. Tests.
NOTE: My 3rd period did a first for me. ALL students earned an "A" on their Timed Test from last Friday! EXCELLENT JOB, Lunch class!
3.) We spent the remainder of the class period going over last week's Ch. 6 QUIZ, problem by problem. Results from this Quiz are representative of the student's knowledge over one-half of this Chapter.
PW: PRACTICE!!! The Ch. 6 MAJOR TEST is scheduled for this Wednsday, 3-15-06. Work on various problems from EACH section covered in Ch. 6. Give your full 100% so your Test score will reflect it!

1.) After Reviewing, the Ch. 6 QUIZ over sect. 6-1 to 6-5 was taken. If absent, remember to SEE ME about MAKING IT UP the DAY YOU RETURN!!! (Remember: that must be YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!)
PW: Since the HW we checked over sect. 6-6 (yesterday) was so unsuccessful for quite a large amount of you, use problems in the textbook from this sect. to PRACTICE more on problems such as these. You need to get these type down before the Ch. 6 MAJOR TEST, which is NEXT WEEK.
