Classes continued grammar review with DOL.

We reviewed the purpose and the parts of the thesis statement. Handouts on the introductory paragraph were distributed and discussion was introduced regarding the two functions of this paragraph. Sample introductory paragraphs were read, and students were asked to identify the thesis statement in each.
