Week of November 28 - Dec. 2

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and have returned safely.
We will now head to Southeast Asia for our next unit of study. Chapter 28 is the starting point for our unit.
Today we worked on filling in our map with the countries,capitals, and bodies of water in the region. We will have a Map Quiz on Wednesday Dec. 7 . Start studying now !

Week of Nov. 14 ,2005

This week:
We hope parents can come to the Book Chat with the Language Arts classes. They (the students and teachers)are very excited about the author and parents coming.

Social Studies: This week we will finish our Power Point presentations and the students will present their information. Our resident experts will help us to understand about their topics. We will have a small quiz on Friday over the major points we have learned about.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving next week. Remember to wear your seatbelts going to grandmother's house.

Nov.9- 11, Wednesday,Thurday,and Friday- We were working on our China Project. we hope to have our Power Point presentation ready by Friday and start giving them at the begining of next week.

Good Morning -
Today , we will return to the Writing Lab and go online to discover more about China with three sites we will visit.

Today, we corrected our D.O.G. quizes and those students that scored less than an 80 should have theirs signed and returned.
Reading rotations - Five ariticles on different aspects of China with note taking.

Remember- Tommorrow is Early Release Day at 2:15
