Super Job last week ! On the Chapter 25 Test 84 % of students made an A or a B and 81% made an A or B
on the South Asia Map Quiz.
This week we will be using in class the Essential Reading booket India. This book is packed with information on India . There will be a small quiz on Friday with activities during the week.

We really enjoyed our Tour of South Asia with Google Earth and it helped us to understand the region better.
Many activities this week :
Monday - Lesson 4 over Arts and Recreation and the Chapter 25 review in the text.
Tuesday - Study guide for Chapter 25 test on Thursday.
Wednesday - D.E.A.R. time and Check over study guide .
Thursday - Chapter 25 Test

This week we will begin our study of South Asia using the textbook- Chapter 25. We will be learning about the many different aspects of the cultures,governments and economies of the region.
Wednesday - D.E.A.R. time -remeber your book to read.

Welcome back to school and we hope everyone had a great holiday!
This week the Social Studies teachers will be giving the Performance Series Testing - Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday. Friday we will start on our unit over South Asia - the region of India and surrounding countries.
Please remember that next Monday Jan. 16 will be a school holiday in observance on M.L. King Jr. Day
