This week we will be working on geography skills. Students will practice using latitude and longitude to find exact Location . At the end of the week start the physical geography of Southern And Eastern Asia. We will be looking at what landforms are in the Region and how they effect the people and their lives.

Two big reminders:

Monday 8/28 - 6th PTA and Open House
Tuesday 8/ 29 – 7th& 8th Grade

Also Next- Sept. 4 next Monday is Labor Day – Sorry, no school .

We had a super first week of school in Seventh Grade. The students really lived up to their reputation of being a great group !

This week we are starting with studying the Five Themes of Geography / & Physical and Cultural Geography.
( refer to pages 22- 33 in the textbook)

We will have a small quiz over these three topics on Friday 8/25 .

We have also started D.O.G. ( Daily Oral Geography) which is a quick warm-up at the beginning of class each day. All of our work is kept in our binder until it is turned in at test/quiz time .
