Things to know:
Sentence Structure - simple, compound, complex, compound-complex
Sentence Type - imperative, exclamatory, interrogatory, declarative
Subjects - compound subjects, understood "you"
Predicates - compound predicates
Verbs - linking, helping, action
There will be extra credit on the quiz!

What you need to know: 3 types of persuasive writing, why knowing your audience is important, types of support used in persuasive writing, and Nestorian Order!!
You will also need to evaluate a text using the persuasive techniques we have talked about in class. BE PREPARED!!
