Students will make a character silhouette to represent one person, of their choosing, from our novel. The character should be 2-dimensional and resemble the character using details provided in the story. Use yarn, beads, cloth, felt, cotton balls, noodles, buttons, doll clothing, props attached, etc. to make your character look realistic.
Remember: must be school appropriate. No cigars or cigarettes, etc.
Students should neatly write or type (on a 3 x 5 index card) five sentences from the novel that describe the character. Please provide the page # too. These sentences are the source of inspiration for dressing and detailing their character.
