The school year is progressing well. Most of our students have successfully completed the first nine weeks and are well into the second; yes we really are nearing completion of the first semester. With completion of the first semester students’ thoughts turn toward moving on to high school. The eighth graders took an important step toward this goal last week when they participated in vocational testing. These results, when returned in the spring, will help point them toward areas of interest and provide insights into career areas they may find rewarding.

To assist in the move to high school, Lassiter is hosting a Parent Night for all rising 8th graders. They will be providing information to begin the transition and curriculum. Please plan to attend on Tuesday, November 14 at 7:00 PM at Lassiter.
