Week of September 19th

Students will be finishing their Osmosis lab tomorrow. They had been observing the effects on their eggs by adding different liquids on it.

Test and Notebook Quiz have been returned. Students did very good on the test.

This week we will continue studying different methods of transporting materials. On Wednesday students will write a lab report on the Osmosis lab.

Standards:
Standard Element: S7L5.1.a
Explain that cells take in nutrients in order to grow and divide and to make needed materials.

Skills:
Students will define Osmosis, diffusion, active and Passive transport.
Students will identify Osmosis and diffusion.
Students will compare and contrast active and Passive transport.

Assessments:
Osmosis/Diffusion lab
Osmosis/Diffusion compare and contrast sheet.
