Class Notes For Second Period

January 24, 2006 Essential Question: What are protists? What are protozoans?

Warm up #1 was given today. The question is what are the categories that protists are divided into? The answer is animal like, plant like, and fungi like.

We also discussed the four types of protozoans. The first kind is protozoans with psuedopods ( Ameba's). The second type is protozoan with flagella's. The third kind is protozoans with cilias, ( paramecium). The table of contents and warm up sheets were given.

Remember that there is a microscope quiz on Friday.
