Class Notes For Second Period

May 15, 2006
Today we reviewed the bones of the body, with a game. After that we got into groups, and decided on what we were going to do for our projects. The projects are on different systems of the body. In the groups we decided what system we were going to do, and what materials we needed to make the model of the system. You can bring the materials you will need for the project, but we will be working on the project Thursday. There will be a test tomorrow on the bones of the body, and the types of muscle tissue.

Today we reviewed the parts of the circulatory, digestive, and excretory systems. Ms.kulkarni had some words on the promethean board like: the heart, rectum, small intestine, large intestine,Urinary bladder etc. We were given a minute to put all the words on the board in the system they belonged.

After that we learned about the parts of the respritory system, such as: the nose, pharynx, and trachea, etc. We added the parts of the respirtory system to our human projects, as well as any other finishing touches. After that we worked on our workbooks.
