Today I collected the Chapter 7 Notebook Check from those students who had not yet turned theirs in. Then, we worked in Think-Pairs to complete 2 Integer Worksheets. We then checked these in class. Keep these in your notebooks, as these 2 worksheets will be the first item in the next notebook check. I then passed back the Chapter 7 Test and the Chapter 7 Notebook Check. Be sure to pull the 1/2 page of fraction and decimal problems from the Ch. 7 Notebook packet and re-file that in your binder. We will complete this after Thanksgiving. Tomorrow we will work on Accelerated Math. Please note that you will receive an Activity Grade for this 9 weeks for A.M. This will be a participation grade. If you have been here on Fridays and have been working at a steady pace, you are in good shape for this grade. Finally, I would like to wish everybody a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving Holiday.

Today I passed back the 7.1,7.2,7.3,7.8 quiz. We went over every problem in class and completed quiz corrections in class. I collected the quiz corrections and then passed them back before the end of class. Since the scores on the quiz were lower than expected, I passed out a new quiz on the same material. Your assignment is to complete the Re-Take Quiz and have it ready to turn in at the beginning of class on Wednesday. You should complete all work on a separate piece of notebook paper and staple it to the quiz. Please be sure to record your final answers in the Answer column on the quiz form. After I grade the Re-take quiz, I will record the higher of your 2 quiz scores. Please note that the re-take quiz is optional if you scored an A or B on the original quiz.
