Today we discussed what defines culture and watched a video on how Economics defines Culture. There is no homework.
Parents,
FYI: The Georgia State Department of Education has developed an online assessment system containing practice tests your child can take at home if you have access to the Internet. All students were given their login this morning in homeroom with the directions; you may want to ask them for this information. This is a great tool to help your child practice for the CRCT’s in the spring.

If you are late and a teacher is at the front door, just tell them you are here to take a test for me. If they don’t let you through you will have to wait until 8:15 and go to the theater and Ms. Hanserd will let you come down.

The concept webs need to have seven topics with at LEAST five facts under each topic, as well as pictures that relate to your Indian group. These pictures may be drawn and colored, or cut out and pasted. ALL pictures need to be in color. Possible topics are: history, government, customs, education, entertainment, religion, decline, influences, empire, physical features, architecture, medicine, and way of life. Color and neatness are very important. If I were you I would type the facts and then glue them on the concept web.
