We practiced 6.3 on dry erase boards. Homework is a Moncrieff worksheet, both sides. We have a quiz tomorrow on 6.1-6.3 with a study session at 8:15 in the morning.

We went over 8.4, large and small percents. We did a worksheet in class together and workbook 8.4 practice is for homework. We will have a quiz on 8.1-8.4 on Monday with a study session on Monday at 8:15.

We reviewed over WS 6.1 and 6.2. We completed a worksheet with practice on 6.3, solving compound inequalities. Notews were given, but no presents until tomorrow, sorry. :((

We went over last night's homework on workbook 8.3. We went shopping!! We shopped through catalogs to come up with 20 items we would like to receive and calculated the discount and sale prices. Finish calculations for homework..

We went over p. 343 and worked with partners on worksheet 6.1 and 6.2. We will have a quiz on 6.1-6.3 on Friday with a study session on Friday morning at 8:15.

We went over homework on 8.1 and took notes on 8.2 and 8.3. Homework is 8,3 workbook, practice, all. You may use either the proportion method or the equation method, whichever you prefer.

Chapter 5 tests were returned. Have tests signed and do test corrections tonight. I collected the cumulative review from last week on chapters 1-5 and answered questions. We went over sections 6.1 and 6.2 and had homework in the book, p. 343, 15-35, all. Be sure to solve, graph and check all problems. We will have a quiz on Friday on 6.1 - 6.3.

Great job! I am so excited to see the progress you guys are making! We went over 7.10 workbook and began our two day review for the test on Thursday. It was book work, p. 623, 7.1,7.2,7.3 (do evens 2-18) and turn to page 627 and do 7.8, 7.9 and 7.10, the left hand column. Solutions were given out so that you will check your answers, rework any problem you missed and come to class prepared to ask questions. Test is on Thursday with a study session on Thursday at 8:15.

We went over worksheet 5.6 and worked on a worksheet that required you to change an equation from standard to slope and to identify the slope, x and y intercepts of the equations. This is due tomorrow. We have a quiz on 5.5 and 5.6 tomorrow with a study session tomorrow at 8:15. Our chapter 5 test is on Friday with a study session on Friday at 8:15.

We went over solving inequalities, section 7.10 and graphing the solutions on a number line. We did workbook 7.10 study guide together in class and homework is 7.10 practice in the workbook, all. We will have our chapter 7 test on Thursday with a study session on Thursday at 8:15.

We went over section 5.6, Standard form of a Linear Equation. We did worksheet 5.6 for homework. We will have a quiz on Tuesday on 5.5 and 5.6 with a study session on Tuesday morning.

Hurray!!! We are doing so much better with our integers! We took an integer quiz today and I am so excited about the large number of 100's!!! We did accelerated math. No presents, but we do have the chapter 7 test next Thursday.

We went over homework from p. 303, section on point slope formula. We worked in pairs on worksheet 5.5, B and C which is due tomorrow. We will have a quiz on 5.5 and 5.6 next week and test on chapter 5 at the end of next week.

One of our hardest topics of the year!! We worked on dry erase boards to work on the workbook practice 7.9, solving equations with rational numbers. Homework is practice workbook 7.4, 1 - 18, all. We will have a test on chapter 7 next week.

We went over the review packets from chapter 4 and 5.1-5.2. These were collected. We went over sections 5.5, Point Slope Form of a Linear Equation. Homework is p. 303, 19-55, odd.

We graded the quiz re-take in class and happily they did MUCH BETTER! We took notes on 7.4 and 7.9 and did practice in the workbook study guide pages, 7.4 and 7.9. No presents today!!! We are going to spend one more day working together and then I will set you free!

We went over the quizzes that were not good!! Quiz corrections were copied down and we took a new quiz on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions. This is just more proof to me that working with integer rules is weak. Please practice. Anyone that didn't finish the quiz in class has to finish for Wednesday at the first of class.
