We went over 5.5, congruent triangles. We did some high tech practice!!! Homework is p. 212, 8-14, 18, only.

Signed tests.....make sure to get your test signed and your corrections done!! We went over 8.1 and did two worksheet together in class in partners. They are due tomorrow. If you weren't here today, you will need to get this from me.

We reviewed over geometry vocabulary getting ready for a vocabulary quiz on Friday. We worked on angle tangle worksheet together in class using the properties learned about parallel lines that have a transversal going through it. Both sides of the worksheet were worked on. Anything not completed in class is to be finished for homework.

Tests went home today for signature and test corrections. We started chapter 8 and worked on worksheet 6.2 together in class for examples. Homework is ws 8.1, 1-36, all. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR BRAINBLAST FOR ACCURACY!!!

We went over characteristics of quadrilaterals and used a flow chart to help organize thoughts and characteristics. Homework is p. 203, 4-19, omit #8. We will have a vocabulary quiz on Friday on the whole geometry vocabulary packet.

I checked for signed tests and test corrections. We started chapter 5, Geometry. We went over vocabulary with our vocab packets. We will be doing a drawing tomorrow using all the vocabulary tomorrow.

We finished our quizzes in class. Homework is worksheet 7.5, 1-18, all. You don't have to follow the directions for 12-18. You may use elimination or substitution, just be sure to indicate the number of solutions. The chapter 7 test is Friday with a study session Friday morning at 8:15.

We worked in partners on worksheet 7.4. You are to solve 1-4, by graphing, 5-8, by substitution and 9-12 by elimination. That is all you need to complete. We have a quiz tomorrow on 7.1-7.4 with a study session at 8:15 tomorrow.

Get ready for the chapter 9 test on Thursday. We did review work in class today on 9.1-9.5. We did book work, p. 630, section 9.1 (2-30, evens). 9.2 (2-28, even), 9.3, (1-5, all) NO CALCULATORS ON 9.1-9.3, BUT YOU MAY USE THEM ON 9.4 AND 9.5, 9.4, (1-14, all) and 9.5 (1-3, all, not section 9-5A). We will have a study session on Thursday at 8:15. I would certainly plan to be there.

We went over the worksheets from Friday and there were several questions. We went over section 7.4, which was using the method of choice to solve linear systems of equations. We have a quiz on Friday on 7.1-7.4 with a study session on Friday. Reminder that there are no academic classes on Wednesday after the writing test. Today's classwork/homework is p. 431, 12-45, multiples of 3. This is due on Thursday.

We went over homework and practiced, 7.3, Solving Linear Systems of Equations by Elimination. We practiced in lclass and homework is WS 7.3, 1-18, all. We will have a quiz next Friday on 7.1-7.4.

We went over 9.4 and worked on 9.5, Using the Pythagorean Theorem. Homework is workbook, 9.5, study guide 1-3, practice, 1-6, and book work p. 394, 1-10 in the mid-chapter test.

We went over 7.2, Solving Linear Systems of Equations by substitution. We did worksheet 11.3 together in class and homework is ws 7.2, 1-21, only.

Short chapter in chapter 9! We did sections 9.2 and 9.3 today in class. Homework is workbook practice, 9.2 1-24, all, and 9.3, 1-9, only. We will have our chapter test next Thursday with a study session at 8:15 that morning.

Happy New Year! We jumped right into chapter 7 and Systems of Linear Equations. We went over both sections 7.1 and 7.5 in class and took notes. Homework is p. 401-403, 11-33, odd and 45-57, odd.
