Girls Health & Beauty Day in Intramurals!

Girls don't get left out on Beauty Day on Tuesday, November 14th @ 8:00am.

*Sign up for a spot before they all fill up!

*Sign up on the Health & Beauty day sheet taped to the Whiteboard in the Girls Locker room.

There are only 30 spots available and it will be held in the Health room down by the boys Locker room on 11/14 @ 8:00 am-8:45 am. Sign ups start on Thursday 11/2.

Pick up a Permission slip from Girls Locker room if your name is on the sign up list.
You will have to turn in permission slip to use any sample products.

Racquetball Unit

We have been learning about the exciting sport of Racquetball in class the last two weeks. Students have applied rules and etiquette of racquetball to play both singles and doubles on a one-wall court. Students have also performed the roles of scorekeeper, Referee as well as player. We have also been discussing and evaluating sportsmanship during our Racquetball tournament.

Drug Unit Update

We have been studying the health consequences of Tobacco, Alcohol, and Anobolic Steroid Use. Students need to locate a Magazine Ad for a tobacco or alcohol product for an activity we will do Monday in class.

Flag Football FAQ- What is a Practice Bye?

All teams are scheduled a Practice Bye week during the regular season. This is an opportunity for teams to practice and work on strategy or play a practice game against the other team that is scheduled for the bye that day. All members of the team are encouraged to attend on practice days.
