Where did August go?

Hello:
I can't believe that the month of August has come and gone. We have accomplished so much! My sixth graders are finally into the swing of things and their routine of beginning one activity and then moving to the next is slowly taking shape. There is no time for play. They are working on vocabulary, spelling words, compehension skills, decoding skills and much more. These successful sixth graders are working on addition, subtraction, missing numbers, number lines and sequencing. They should be coming home tired. I really enjoy my new students.
My eighth graders have been moving and grooving from day one.We move from one activity to another,so often, and they keep up with me.These energetic eighth graders can be found reading, writing and spelling and working on many language arts skills. Stay tuned for new information.

Welcome!

We have gotten the school year off to a great start. It has been exciting to meet all of my new students and see how much my returning students have matured and grown over the summer vacation. I am looking forward to seeing much academic growth this year. There is a wealth of materials to whet the students' appetite. Please feel free to e-mail me with any of your concerns. I look forward to working with you and your children.
