Ask your sixth grade child how hard they are working in math. We are using the Saxon Math program combined with learning centers and fun math activities.We are so busy working from bell to bell; we hardly realize our time to go has come. Along with addition, subraction, multiplication and fractions, we have been working with clocks, making change, number lines, reading scales and parallel and perpendicular lines, to name a few! I usually give math homework three or four times a week, never on a Friday. We generally have a quiz once a week. Please take the time to check your child's agenda. You will be amazed how much your child is learning.
