Monday

Today we are having our test on Latin America. You will have the opportunity to choose the standard test or an essay test.

We have completed the study guide and reviewed numerous times.

Please bring your book to class. If time permits, we will issue the book on Russia and Europe.

I hope everyone is well. We have had so many absences. If you are absent and have not received a study guide, please arrange to have one picked up at the office.

We are having our Latin America book test on the 28th of February.

Today we will share the essays that you wrote on Chapter Two.

On Wednesday, we will have a book check. You will be receiving new books on the 28th of February.

This week we will continue to complete the study guide and have ample time for review in class.

The only homework we will have this week is to study for the test.

On Friday, we will test our skills with a LCD interactive game.

We finished our unit on Mexico last week. Congratulations- great job on the map test !

On Monday, we will be reading 6.1 in summarizing groups. We will begin reading material on the Rainforest. Please use the link provided and select one paper on the subject. A one page summary will be due on Wednesday.

Help with Rainforest School Report

We will review the political map of South America. You will be given a complete map and a blank one for studying.. There will be a test, February 15th.

On Friday, the students will be presenting their “quilt blocks”. Each group is responsible for a country in Latin America. They will present four important facts about that country. Examples would be population, economy, government, and trade.
