Hello Everyone. Last week I was so proud of my students. You were so engaged in the Latitude and Longitude activies. Now, we can apply this knowledge to a historical event- Hurricane Katrina. On Monday, we will track the hurricane. As promised, we will engage in a Battleship activity.
On Tuesday, we will have a study session in class on The Five Themes of Geography before the test.

We will have a quiz on longitude and latitude this Friday. On Monday, August 29th, we will have a test on the Five Themes of Geography. This will give you a week to review and we will also review in class.

Today we will finish the pre-test for the course. The Essential Question this week is -Why is it important to be aware of your surroundings? We will write a writen response Tuesday. Today, we are taking a tour of the school.
