I hope everyone enjoyed their "snow days". The map test scheduled for Monday will be given Friday.

Wednesday, we will review 1.3. Since we covered this material last week, we will have a quiz on Thursday. I am giving a homework assignment that will be due next Monday. It will count as two assignments.

Thursday, I will hand out the study guides for the Chapter One test. We will review in class. Next Tuesday will be the Chapter One test.

We had a great study session today. Tomorrow we will have a quiz on 1.2. Study tonight. I will check your work on the Constitution tomorrow.
On Wednesday, we will work on our map of North America. We will identify twenty locations and color in the landforms. This will be a study guide for the North America map test next Monday.

Overview of the week. Essential Question: What factors influence the climate in Canada and the United States?
We will use a great program from Rand McNally in conjunction with our books this week.

Reminder- Tuesday we are having a quiz on 1.1. Please use the study guide that we worked on last Friday.
This week we will cover 1.2 and have a special presentation on the Constitution.

September 5th

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. This week we will have our Five Themes of Geography test on Tuesday. We will also issue your States and Canada book on Tuesday. We are very fortunate to be able to go to the Media Center for two days this week. We will overview Canada and do several activities online. I will put on the sites after we go to the center for review.
