Don't forget your Venn diagram is due tomorrow. The critical question is on page 50 and is to be in the venn diagram format.
Please bring in your data on candy. Please sort by name, i.e. Snickers. Please include all candy. If you are absent tomorrow, here is the download of the bar graph.

Just a reminder that our Lost Arts Museum is open and you are more than welcome to come and see it. If you would like to come during classtime this week, please do.
Monday we will cover Chapter 2, Section 4. We will also discuss Chapters 3 and 4 of our novel, The Incredible Journey(sorry, I cannot underline using the movable type).
Homework tonight-Please count and sort the candy you get by brand name.

This week each student will have an opportunity to present his(her) contribution to The Lost Arts Museum. Six students a day will each have three minutes to make their presentation.
Students working on the newspaper article will have any opportunity to complete final product.
Chapter 2, Section 3 will be done in t-note format. Quiz will be given Wednesday.
Chapter 2, Section 4-Using data from this section, students will create a children's story about the history of Canada. A narrative form will be used while staying true to the facts.

This is an overview of our objectives. Due to the short class periods this week, I imagine this will take the entire week. We will read Chapter 3 of The Incredible Journey on Friday. The illustrations of Chapters 1 & 2, we will analyze by Thursday.
Chapter 2- Section 2
Record using two-column notes, the dates found in 2.2. Summarize events for each date.
Display information on a timeline. (Assessment)
Define key terms and key people.
Demonstrate knowledge by answering questions using key vocabulary and key people in your response. (Assessment)

Homework tonight- Questions 1-4 from Chapter 2, Section 1. Look over your draft on your grandparents and begin working on your final copy. Remind your parents that they are more than welcome to drop in next week during your class time and visit The Lost Arts Museum.
