February 15th

Today we had our 6.1 quiz. There is no homework unless you scored under an eighty(80). If this is the case, you are to complete questions 1-4 at the end of the section(6.1).
We will have the laptops in the classroom tomorrow. Students that have completed their Rainforest Vacation? paper will be using an Amazon interactive site. Those that are still having difficulty getting on to the site will have an opportunity to work on the paper in class.

it's good to be back! I am sorry that many of you have been sick. Third and Fourth Periods, your Rainforest papers were great! Thanks to the Chiefs that attended our meetings. Homework tonight read 6.1.
Fifth and Sixth periods have a day extention on their papers. They are due Tuesday. If you did not finish 6.1 Main Ideas, please complete tonight.
Please remember that we have a quiz on Wednesday on 6.1.

Today we had a pretest on the map of the Caribbean. We will have a test on the map Monday. We also worked on our Chapter Two vocabulary. Monday, we will use the vocabulary for a BINGO game and Tuesday we will have a vocabulary test There is no homework tonight. Tomorrow, I will be at a meeting. There will be a Time for Kids. You will find details from articles. You will be given time to complete your vocabulary meanings.
