Map test tomorrow. We had a good review today. Study only the highlighted landforms, rivers, and bodies of water.
Tomorrow, our visitors will be in the building. They are one day early. I know we'll give them a wonderful welcome.

Essential Questions:
How do the oceans and mountains affect climate in Europe and Russia?
What different climates and kinds of vegetation do Europe and Russia have?
Each student is responsible for the following:
1) Key Terms and Key Places- illustrate the key terms and key places.
2) Read Pages 16-21
3) Take notes on the following: It is your decision on the type of notes you take. However, each topic should contain at least three complete sentences.

Today we watched a short movie on the Constitution. Make sure you have colored pencils tomorrow. You will also need a black or blue pen.

Homework tonight- read pages 2-7 in your Europe and Russia book.
The 4th period had a special guest today. We had a visiting professor from Australia. She gave the students an overview of the country - very interesting. Many thanks to Mrs. Miceli and her class for sharing her with us. Thanks to Mrs. Brown-Curry and her wonderful class who attended also.
The projects were due today. Those of you that didn't have your project will have ten points taken off your final total for each day you are late.
